My problem with winter uniform

Am I the only one annoyed about the fact that winter uniforms will only appear if there is snow? In Quickbattles, you can't choose snow as ground condition, but only choose it as weather condition (Which makes vehicles and men move very slowly). So unless it's snowing, you can't get winter uniforms in QBs. Because of that, Even if you are in the middle of january with frozen temperature and strong winds, your men still wear their regular uniforms.

Shouldn't we be able to choose the ground condition? Then at least we could pick light snow and get the uniforms without all the inconvinent that comes with the "snowing" weather condition. Or their use could be linked to month and temperature, but that would cause problems to those using white winter uniforms.

Perhaps that's something for CMX2: both snow camouflage uniforms AND cold weather gear that get used depending on temperature and weather conditions.

I haven't tried this, myself, but I don't see why it couldn't work. Get a quick battle set up, save it, exit, use a mod manager to install winter uniforms, and restart the game.
