Nukle
Hello first of all I must say that my english is not very good, so i´ll need a little effort from you Well, i´m trying to play with a friend of mine by ip. My internet conection is DSL 256 and my router is US Robotics 9003. I have a Athlon 1.1 with 256 RAM and Windows Me, and the game is CMBB. I must be the host of the game, but when I create te game, CMBB says me that my ip direction is my LAN ip, so the other player can´t connect to my computer to play. I have read that CMBB uses the port number 7023 to tcp/ip matches, and i´ve open it in the router´s firewall also. In my house we have two pc with the same DSL connection, so i can´t put the router in monopost mode. What can i do? Regards Excuse my bad english
WWB
You need to: 1) Enable port forwarding on your router, sending port 7023 to the private IP of your computer (the one CM shows). 2) Give him your public IP address. Best way to get it is to visit www.whatismyip.com . WWB

pritzl
I have the same problem. I also have a DSL connection and am unable to host. My question is how do I change these options in my DSL router (a Sinus 130 from Deutsche Telekom) so that I can host games? Thanks.
