How do I get snow and clear skies in a QB?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

In CMBB, certain locations together with certain dates and clear weather (ex. Finland+december+clear) produced snow on the ground with clear skies, wich of course permitted air support.

In CMAK I have been trying many combinations but I havent managed to produce a QB with snow on the ground and clear skies. If I set the parameters to snow/blizzard I get snow on the ground but also in the air (including in july, august etc!), wich means no air support. Even in Italy, in the northern part at least, there is a possibility of this weather condition happening.

I can get what I want by designing a map/scenario in the editor. I can not, however, import that map into a QB and still get the same result, because the paramters of the QB overrides the parameters of the scenario design. Or is there a trick wich you can use here, that I don´t know of?

Now, has anyone found a combination of location, date and weather wich produces snowy ground AND clear sky?

Please, people of Battlefront, when you design the next engine, and if it still has a QB option, please include parameters for ground condition in the QB setup. I very much like to fly my Stuka over a happy winter wonderland!

I believe a prayer might work. Try this one, it has proved to be effective. ;)

ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech of Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call upon Thee that armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies, and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen.
