Zarquon
No. And if they could, you wouldn't expect it to happen during a typical 30 minute firefight, do you?
junk2drive
lol, i would expect it if i was trying to get across a long river to win. and this battle is 35+ minutes seriously, i thought not, but would hate to march 1km up the map for nothing. better to ask than wonder why your engineers are just sitting there.
Lucho
Look for: "SmallBattles_SighBridge1940" by Wayne "Rutledge" Hans at http://www.dragonlair.net/combatmission SPOILER: The bridge just named had been rendered useless for vehicles by positioning AT - mines (those which can be seen and easily removed) on the bridge. This should represent vehicle wrecks, which had been destroyed during an former air raid and which are then blocking the escape route for the British. Put some Engineers near to the mines and they will clear them (in about 20-30 minutes!) without satchel charges.
junk2drive
thanks, lucho i am playing another of hans battles in addition to some pto. hans usual nice map has a river near my setup zone, with a broken bridge. the next crossing is at the other end of the map, near the vl. of course the only avenue of movement (road in tall palms) funnels me into enemy crossfire. would have liked to use that bridge.
