tooz Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 Anyone interested in hard data on the Hungarians and their small numbers of Tiger Tanks may want to check out the book on Hungarian Forces In WWII, Volume Two. This is available through Axis Europa Books. This publisher is good news/bad news: the good news is that all of his books are on Axis Minors; the bad news is that most of the works tend to be revisionist. Regardless, the amount of rare info offered proves valuable. I do not have my sources with me since I presently teach English in China. The one use of Tigers I recall is when the Hungarians were conducting a withdrawl from the region formerly known as Galicia (Haychyna) back across the Carpathians into Hungary. Two Tigers helped cover this withdrawl. I had done a lot of research and scenario design for the upcoming (?) release of the Axis Monors module for the ASL series (this was two years ago) but I have since traded in my ASL for ESL.
