Three_Oh_Eight
OK, I'm an ASLer. +1, +2... I get what they signify. But what do they do, *really*, in the game? How much 'better' at taking fire is someone in Command where the HQ has a +1 Morale than when it doesn't? A +2? Does anyone know the in game mechanics, what 'percent better' someone is? And most especially, in combat, what *exactly* does a + do for the firer? Better chance to hit? More damage? Faster rate of fire? And if so, how much better?
flamingknives
The lightening bolt (combat bonus) gives an increase in firepower to infantry/mgs or a bonus to hit for ATGs etc. IIRC, the basic effect is to make the affected attribute equal to that of the next experience level (eg. a green unit in command of a green HQ with a +1 on all stats is effectively regular. If the the HQ has +2 on all stats, it is effectively Veteran.

That would make the mechanics (the code) straight forward, so it makes sense.
