nevermind
Please, are any modders working on winterizing any AFVs?I have downloaded and installed all the ones i can find, and there are only a hand full. I dont mean any disrespect, they look really good and all,but the "Rust Werks" by Kingfisher just dont cut it for me.Again, they look good, but i just simple want either a snowed on look,a whitewashed look,or hasty whitewashed over some of the typical camo schemes that are around.Besides, even with the inclusion of his, there are still lots that havent been done.IMO,this is a major neglected modding area. In winter of '41 not a single german tank that i have found is winterized!!Not a one. Now,this may be historical, but what about the following winter?I have found 3 winterized german tanks,2 StuGs and a pzIV,there may also be a tiger or two out there. In most other years some will be winterized, and some not. These mods would really be apreciated! Thanks for all the great work!! [ July 02, 2003, 06:32 PM: Message edited by: nevermind ]
mike8g
Nevermind, almost all tanks in the game have been winterrized. Just have a look at the CMMOS section of CMHQ: http://www.combatmission.com/cmmos/cmmos.asp German tanks are available under "Winterfahrzeuge" Russian tanks are available under "Zimniy Kamuflyazh" The whole set was created by Gordon Molek. It's a simple whitewash-effect, but far better than nothing. Additionally there are many other winter mods available from different authors (Canon, Panzermartin, MrNoobie - just to name a few). All available at the usual locations: CMHQ - CMMOS section CM Mod Database Tom's TCMHQ Marcus [ July 02, 2003, 06:58 PM: Message edited by: mike8g ]

Ouch. Anyway, look for some of Tracer's stuff on CMMods.com, he did a number of "snowed on" mods. Namely the PZIB, PSW 222, some flakwagens, the Opel Blitz, the PZ IIIF, J and N, PZ IVD. All done "snowed on". Also look for some of Canon's mods. He did a large number of winter whitewash for early and late war tanks.
