Dismounting infantry

The short answer is, miles alway from the shooting -- I would favour something like a couple of kilometres off-board, so that the lads have an invigorating brisk walk in the fresh air to the enemy's effective-fire line.

If you want to be clever, you can try dismounting just before you get to the enemy's effective-fire line. But where exactly is the EFL, you ask? Oh, that's easy. The EFL is the line clearly marked by burning half-tracks, and the broken remnants of their passengers.

All the best,

John.

Hi, i just saw the post below by a dood called Harper in the cmbb forum, but i can't reply to him because his mail address isn't shown, and i can't post in the forum myself because of techy problems.

Basically i just wanted to tell him there's a cmbb tutorial at the Proving Grounds which might help him, entitled "POS-Transport Tutorial", if you want to tell him..
