Marcus the smiling leper
Could someone at Battlefront tell me if I chose to sell SC2 or trade it in with a third party, what problems, if any, will the buyer have with the game? Will Battlefront cooperate with the buyer in resolving any issues? I would hate to think I paid $70 for this game and have NO ability to sell it if I so desire. Your response will also wiegh on any future purchases I may or may not make with Battlefront. Thank you for any answers you could provide for me.
Madmatt
Because we will have no record of the subesquent transfer of ownership, he may have a problem if he requests aid in omething that would require that we validate the original purchase (as in a defective CD replacement), but normal everday technical or game support, he gets the same as we provide to anyone else. Moon
To add to what Madmatt said - with regard to the licensing of the game, as long as you pass on your license key that you received with your purchase to the new person, he will be eligible for the same support in terms of licensing and unlicensing the game. This is one of the beauties of the mobile license concept, it is not tied to the original purchase and therefore you truly are the owner of what you bought (the license). It is your responsibility however to unlicense all existing copies before you sell the game. If you sell it and keep your two activations, then new new person won't be able to activate his copy, and that is something that we won't be able to help with.
