Blashy
When I read the battles here it seems that you are playing with extra stuff. Are you playing a different campaign? I would not mind being cannon fodder to all you experience fellows
kurt88
Blashy , Most players use a bidding system. In the game a good player has an advantage playing the axis (that's the general opinion). That's why we use a bidding system, you gotta bid to get the axis. Most common are the 1:4 and 1:8 bidding systems, although there are other systems around. e.g. : Bid 100 to play axis, this would mean that UK would receive 100 MPP's and Russia 400 /800 MPP's at the start of the game. Bid 250 would mean UK=250,USSR=1000/2000. In these two system US doesn't get any MPP's. note: there are other bidding systems around giving all three allied majors MPP's or just Russia alone. And no,we don't use different maps.We do use some custom campaigns sometimes. You can find some of these right here For PBMEM play there are plenty of people willing to play. For a list of players in PBEM look here. I also play PBEM as well as TCP/IP,if you want to start a game mail me at kurt_vanlooy@hotmail.com. Here's also a thread that explains the bidding system very well.
