aesopo123 Posted June 22, 2004 Author Share Posted June 22, 2004 to cut the story short - he expended everything into the lc gambit and simultaneously attacked and invaded Italy. He got several corps eaten up to pieces after getting isolated in Italy and he was reduced to having his HQs hold lines. We lost our two panzer corps but he lost everything - armies, corps, air fleets, two carriers, most of his other navy. We lost three Italian naval units, and an Italian army. He was extremely agressive and it backfired. France was still going to fall in Sept or Oct of 40 with reduced war entry for US. He resigned instead of continuing game.
