zappsweden Posted July 31, 2003 Author Share Posted July 31, 2003 July 1940: Yeah, my mistake was i moved one western corps east in france fearing a cut-off of Maginot but Terif did the "Full Gear Along the Coast" stuff and Paris fell ealier than I expected. Italian transport surprised outside Egypt. Allied Battleship and Bomber! sink the transport. No chance to survive against german Hq, 3 airfleets and the italian navy... Both ships and 2 corps destroyed, Alexandria will fall soon and the rest of the allied task force is heavily damaged and out of supply. Yugoslavia couped and surrendered the same turn. Vichy surrenders, Greece fights on despite the loss of capital. USA joins Allies, Finland joins Axis. UK moved a Lv3 jets airfleet south of London. 4 German airfleets (Lv2) were waiting... UK transport outside Brest, carrier and one airfleet damaged, one airfleet destroyed. One german airfleet lost in the huge airbattle. All 9 russian starting armies cut off or destroyed. Russia started with 3400 mpp... The UK carrier survived luckily 2 attacks at strength 1 (originally str 5). Both Italy and UK have Lv2 gun laying radar.
