Turn 3 Allied:

4 polish units surrendered.

France starts a strike against Germany: UK and french forces march into the enemies country and attack a Hq in Cologne. Simultaneously an offensive begins in LC.

Both subs found, but one sub is a good diver: 0 hits, 3 times diving.

Turn 4 Allies:

A battleship has a look at the airfleet that attacked the UK air directly: still at strength 7, so no chance to kill it... ;) .

Heavy fights in LC, german army survives the counter attack with str 2. Time to retreat from Germany. First sub sunk, the other surrounded and at str 1, will sink next turn.

June 9, 1940:

Yes, axis units are specialists in surviving with 1 or 2 strength points smile.gif . But now the last german ship lies at the bottom of Brussel port.

Germany broke through the french defence lines.

Time to start evacuation procedure for France...

Maginot and mine abandoned, units heading to ports.

September 1, 1940:

German air continues to bombard London port. Therefore not much can be used for Norway invasion. UK task force surprises the invaders in their landing boots. 2 corps transports sunk, army transport heavily damaged, 2 armies cut off from their way home. Carrier-airfleet battles north of Denmark.

September 29, 1940:

Norway becomes a really big and decissive battle. Army transport sunk, another reduced to strength 1 and cut off by two lines of UK ships from safety. Will be killed next turn. Heavy air-carrier battles. Germany moves all air towards Denmark. Port bombing stopped.

Axis capitulate. Germany had already lost 6 ground units and 2 German tanks were down to strength 1&2. France fell late, Russia has big cash handicap and Norway is after schedule.

At first glance, it might seem that I am a quitter when reading this. You should be in a 30 hour game against Terif first before you draw such conclusions. I rather lose in 4 hours than losing in 30 hours. Against Terif u cannot be behind schedule, because he maintains his lead until the end. My chances were very slim, so I threw the towel in.
