Use the sound recorder that exists in WIN9X, open that file, and under the effects option click on reduce volume by 25%. You can reduce it to the level you like and save it. Robert Olesen Posted February 4, 2001 Share Posted February 4, 2001 Or, you could replace it with something else, e.g. the end battle sound (129) Jon Johnsons sound mod v1.6 contains a sound map, mapping wav files to sounds.
