Francesco
HI! Why there aren't bunkers with tank turrets (in France there were many Renault R35 turrets fitted on small casemates) in Russia there were many T-34/76 turrets fitted in the same way. Will we see them on CM2? Bye! Francesco ------------------ Veni Vidi Vici
Bruno Weiss
I was thinking more of bunkers fitted with treads. Das Schleppenbunkens. Course, they wouldn't be allowed to use the "hide" command in the same turn they moved. ------------------ "Gentlemen, you may be sure that of the three courses open to the enemy, he will always choose the fourth." -Field Marshal Count Helmuth von Moltke, (1848-1916)
Ben Galanti
If the scenario designer allows it, you can 'dig in' tanks. This will simulate such bunkers. This is only on a scenario by scenario basis though, and the tanks have to be set as such at the beginning of the battle. They are immobile (but permenantly hull down) for the durration of the battle. Ben
Francesco
Digged-in tanks are not the same of AT turrets on casemates: The first is simply a tank digged-in the second is a turret placed on a sub-terrain small bunker in which there are more and more ammunitions and its resistance to a heavy projectile is better than a subterred hull of a tank, more stability is garanted well. And it is important to remembber that a Renault R35 digged in tank offers a turret with one crewman but the same turret placed in a bunker could be served well by two crewman.
