Commissar Posted April 19, 2001 Share Posted April 19, 2001 The point of that section of interview was that guys within the tank communicated with their "feet" as one other poster mentioned despite the fact they did have a telephone-like system for the TC to communicate with other members of the crew. Apparently, the system didn't really work so they had to communicate physically anyway. At least, that's what I got out of it. As for only the Platoon/Company tank having a radio early in the war, that's sounds about right.
