Epée
This sounds like an overheating problem. You could try underclocking your videocard, or running CM with your PC case (cabinet?) open. Epée
Fox
Some of the most common causes of crashes for me are the following...i've had 5 different motherboards, some Pentium, some Althlon bases so i have some experience: 1) Is ur AGP 2X or 4X?? Try 2X as setting to 4 often causes problems because of different voltage needs. I have SoftMenu from Abit for setting up BIOS and there's a thing called AGP driving value. I found one setting for this (and not the default one) that worked in 4X mode..2X worked with any setting....it was trial and error and i found a setting of E7 worked..anything else locked up my system 100% of the time eventually)..btw..there almost NO noticeable difference between 2X and 4X 2) hows ur MB temperature? Overheating often causes crashes...try playing the next few games with the computer cover completely off.. well...those are the big 2 for me. Hope it might help in some way FK [ 04-10-2001: Message edited by: Fox ]
