Tiger Posted July 22, 2001 Share Posted July 22, 2001 That's a good site, thanks. Something else I'd reccomend is the recently published book "German Tanks at War" by Bob Carruthers. In the back are several pages devoted to all the divisional insignias, in black and white, used by German tank units along with their recruiting district and year formed; lists divisional elements; and gives the combat hisory of each division (only placename and date). Also on the last page is a table of the "Numbering of the Panzer Divisions" in a table format along with dates. Another cool chart(s) is the Tiger tank Operational Status on the East and West Fronts in colored bar-graph format listing # of Tigers issued per month, operational Tigers per month, Tigers in need of repair per month, and total writeoffs per month. -Tiger Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
