litchy Posted August 18, 2001 Share Posted August 18, 2001 Can anyone please tell me why axis tanks don't seem to be fitted with AA mgs. I know that assault guns where fitted with mg for infantry defense, but at the time of CM no tanks where fitted with AA mgs. Was this an oversite or a policey of the axis army at the time. Chad Harrison Posted August 18, 2001 Share Posted August 18, 2001 i do know that the mark IV had the possibility of having an AAMG, but it was rare for them. the hetzer and stug series do have them in CM, they are remote control. whether the mark V or VI had them in reality, ive never seen a picture of the sorts. it seemed the allies were the biggest on AFV AAMG, and they were the ones who needed them the least!
