On a Mac you can use Command-Shift-3 unless you are using a 3DFX based card in which case you must usea utility called Glidehack. Hey you press print screen and then run Window's paint program - and then press control-V or go to the edit emnu item, and select paste - then you can save as a BMP , but then you need tio compress to jpeg. I recommend ACDSee - best quality Jpegger ever!
