Mick_Oz Posted August 9, 2000 Share Posted August 9, 2000 In several games, I've had mortar teams with blue targeting lines which simply won't fire no matter where line is directed.. message says: out of range. I've tried moving them to new location ..in open terrain for example.. but this hasn't helped. Couldn't find anything to help using search. Hope someone has the answer. Thanks. The German 81mm mortars for example will show "out of range" for anything under 100 meters from them. On the other hand, if something is too far away, you just have to get closer or wait for them to come in. Also, the 50mm mortars (German) have a shorter range than the 81mm (duh, but you never know). :^) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried targeting areas at all distances... both direct and indirect.. it was a German 81mm in this case.. but same happened as Allies with 2" mortars.. perhaps I was simply too close.
