cartman316
Newbie here, first post (attn. CM Borg). Preordered CM and got it the first week after it was released. Been reading and enjoying many of the posts on this forum (hamstergerbiltruppen cracks me up) Been a WWII history buff/wargamer now for like 15yrs. Simply an incredible game. Been looking for this since the days of Avalon Hill. Anyway, started thinking about how much more CM has cost me besides $45 plus shipping. I know some other people have posted stuff about it taking over their lives. No problem here, since as a programmer I don't have one. I was thinking more in terms of dollars. First, there is the new PC (for the huge battles) Next is the renewed interest in WWII books. I think I'm keeping Amazon in business by myself. Also, the new "surround sound" speakers to get the full effect. I thought maybe I could do a new credit card commercial featuring CM: New PC: $1500 WWII books: $100 New speakers: $80 Watching a Sherman explode from a Tiger's 88mm: PRICELESS! Good job BTS! Best wargame I've ever played!
Hamstersss
Lol! Maybe Molinari (Sp?) can do a POTD based on this on CombatHQ. ------------------ You wouldn't know the dust of Thermopylae if it came up to you, handed you a business card reading "Dust of Thermopylae, 480 B.C.E.", then kicked you in the shins. -Hakko Ichiu
