Guest Big Time Software Posted May 21, 1999 Share Posted May 21, 1999 Combat Mission requires DirectX. So long as this is supported (correctly) it should run on Win2000pro. But unfortunately, MS has a bad history of not making DirectX function propperly with NT, so as far as we know it won't work on NT. Don't know if the latest DirectX 7 will do this though. Herr Oberst Posted May 27, 1999 Share Posted May 27, 1999 There should be no problem running under NT 5, or as those marketing yahoos at MS renamed it, Windows 2000. aka kingtiger Posted June 19, 2000 Share Posted June 19, 2000 Just an update on Windows 2000 and CM. All appears to be fine on a 64MB, networked Windows 2000 Professional Machine. CM Loaded while logged onto network, outlook loaded, browsing the internet through Proxy. No reboot required. Game plays fine. Thanks BTS. You guys rock Big Time!
