Guest WildBill
I want to invite you to check out the newest page on the Wild Bill's Raiders Site in the Boots and Tracks Section. Not only Madmatt and his marvelous CMHQ, but also the Raiders in support of what Matt and Fionn are doing, are offering additional coverage of Combat Mission. A scenario review of the Nijmegen battle, the third in a series of articles on using the scenario editor in CM, and some great screen shots by Rune of German armor are some of the current offerings. Visit both sites. You won't be disappointed. Having been involved with testing and scenario design in Combat Mission since the earliest Alpha Version, I think this game is one of the finest. We try to do it justice on the Raider page. You know Combat Mission has got to be good, if The Gamers Net has two sites devoted to its coverage. We look forward to your visit. http://wbr.thegamers.net Go to "Boots and Tracks" section. ------------------ Wild Bill Wilder Wild Bill's Raiders Director of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net http://wbr.thegamers.net
guachi
Already done, sir! Liked what I saw, sir! Pz IV pics are really cool, but found the new faces shown a bit ... odd. Neither good nor bad, just jarringly different. Liked the scenario editor description part III, especially the last line about the soldiers and there swiveling heads and emotionless faces. One quibble - at the bottom of the Boots & Tracks page it thanks us for joining the Boots & Saddle team. I thought CM stood for Combat Mission, not Cavalry Mission. Guest Madmatt
Hehehe I noticed the Boots and Saddle thing too but just chucked it up to Bill being about 300 years old and a little senile these days... Guest WildBill
Hell, when I was a young man, it was Boots and Saddles (G). But yes, saddles on a tank? Maybe for old Georgie Thanks. We'll fix that. Let me blame it on someone else in the meantime (LOL)!... ------------------ Wild Bill Wilder Wild Bill's Raiders Director of Scenario Design, The Gamers Net http://wbr.thegamers.net
