Guest Zigster
I'm curious whether the StuG Ausf G in the Last Defence scenario that is depicted with side skirts has any defensive benefits over and above the Ausf G depicted without. Those skirts might be handy in zook alley. Is it just and aesthetic touch, or is there a difference? ------------------ Der Zig
billcarey
The skirts are spaced armor intended to counter shaped charge weapons like zooks, so yes, it is a game feature! -Bill

Fionn
Actually, if you do a seardch I think you'll find an old discussion about the results of zook hits in the demo on both StuG types and the fact that the ones with the skirts seemed to survive zook shots much better than the non-skirted StuGs. ------------------ ___________ Fionn Kelly Manager of Historical Research, The Gamers Net - Gaming for Gamers
