Stoffel
Well done Major. Wish the Dutch army would do so as well. There seems to be a lot of opposition against this sort of computer training Especially at the lower officerranks.

Guest rune
MajorH, Do you know if the new Army version will reflect current units, or the migration to the LAVs? There was a special on PBS last night about how the Army is re-vamping forces and going away from tanks, along with the whos, whys,, etc. of why it is doing that. Also, will the OPFOR change as well? Guest MajorH
The initial version reflects current Army organization and equipment. USMC LAV25s and Canadian LAVIIIs are already available in the game data base for substitution if one wants to experiment with medium force concepts. The final version will likely include more notional LAV options and substitutions. ------------------ Best regards, Major H majorh@mac.com
rich4421972
Great job, MajorH! I am really glad that you are being rewarded for your ingenuity and genius in creating this game. This contract from the US Army is truly an affirmation of what we gamers have thought about TacOps for long time (I'm especially glad that Canada will be at least symbolically present in the new version! ) Rich
