Exactly, after the 'gamey' PBEM issue Ie, last turn rushes, was raised rather vehemently, Gary & Keith listened & implemented the easiest solution.

Problem is CM is not SP so codeing an actual ramdom factor to turn lengths may not be possible or as easy as it was to do in SP, and thats if BTS even think's its an issue to begin with.
