Neutral Party Posted May 4, 2000 Share Posted May 4, 2000 Seeing the old guy with the panzerschreck (CMHQ POTD) made me wonder if a volksturm squad will consist of a bunch of old guys or a mixture of old and young. Will their running speed and/or time to "tired" be affected too. Do we have to kill him or can we just kick his panzerschreck away? On a similar(ish) theme, why are the CM guys (i.e., the ones in the game) so ugly? They all look kind of fat and grumpy - are they based on the beta testers or the seven dwarfs? Guest Madmatt Posted May 4, 2000 Share Posted May 4, 2000 If you would have read my news that went along with that POTD (which I am now pretty certain less than 1% of you do! ) you will see where I mention that the Volkssturm units not only have Old Guys faces, but all the regular 'uglies' as well. Yes, we Beta's are an ugly bunch but most of the face textures aren't based on us. Although some of us had face textures done up for fun only one (the Volks one from the POTD) actually made it into the game AFAIK. As to the guys all looking fat?
