Lugnut
Just wanted to say a big thanks to the CM coders for making it possible to reliably switch away from CM and back to the Windows desktop. If only more games could do this without crashing or otherwise flaking out
BottleRocket
I agree completely. CM runs rock solid compared to other games.
Robert Olesen
You are right in principle, except that for me it reliably does not work. When I bring up the game again it simply does not display / refresh. I have to bring up the task list and kill it. Thank BTS for the Autosave! Anybody else have this problem? I'm using Win98. It's probably some setup fluke on my machine. And, while I'm at it - I wish they had not programmed the Esc key to minimise the game. I have now hit it twice to dismiss a menu or something similar with unexpected results, and I really don't need Esc to do what Alt-Tab already does. Perhaps there's hope that I won't repeat that mistake again
Fuerte
Yes, the Esc key is the biggest user-interface bug in the game. Of course it can be handy if you are playing this game at work.
Snake Eyes
I've found that when going back into the game after using ESC or ALT-TAB the graphics are messed up. However, if I do a second ALT-TAB and re-enter, everything is fine. ------------------ It is easy to be brave from a safe distance. -Aesop
Joseph Porta
Well, I haven't had any serious trouble after alt-tab'ing, but the gamma setting seems to decrease whenever I return. Odd.
Bruno Weiss
Unless you have a Voodoo 5, in which case most likely when you return your textual graphics look like the street signs on New Years Eve. All blurry. ------------------ "Wer zuerst schiesst hat mehr von Leben" Moto-(3./JG11 "Graf") Bruno "Stachel" Weiss
