MCab
1) On the US Basic Training Scenario, the missle fired on the BMP (don't know which one), my friend noticed that at the smallest range listed on the weapon databasethe hit percentage it 60% Is this because of the time to activate the missle? 2) He also wanted to know what that sound was before turns! He thought it sounded like a UFO! Thanks, MCab
Guest MajorH
ATGMs get more accurate the farther they fly. Typically the missile is just barely under control for the first few hundred meters after launch. Then the gunner and the tracking mechanism both settle down. The 'diddledee' sound at the end of the combat phase is just a little attention gainer to let you know that it is time to give orders again. ------------------ Best regards, Major H majorh@mac.com
