Aloid
I think the typical definition of mechanized is when an infantry unit and all it's assets have some form of transportation, as part of the standard unit organization. I guess that's why I ended up with a bunch of trucks in the second scenario of the "Day in the life of the Cavalry Operation". I just started the scenario, and I hope the trucks don't have Firestone ATX tires. Would hate to have an accident while racing the trucks through the town (heh!). Can you say (way) forward observer, I know they can! Aloid
Airborne
Mechanized means infantry using halftrack or lightly armored transport. Motorized means infantry using trucks. Typically, mech units were the infantry portion of armored divisions or in panzer grenadier battalions. ------------------ Land Soft--Kill Quiet
