This has come up several times. In each case the oddity went away when the user reduced his op system color/display control panel setting prior to running TacOps.

What you saw is probably a symptom of your system running low on memory while it is trying to construct the 'in memory' graphic art resources that will later be blitted to the screen as needed. TacOps needs a lot of memory to do what it does if the op system is using high color settings and or large monitor resolutions are being used.

If you are running at millions of colors and you see odd graphic effects then go down to thousands and try again.

If you are running at thousands of colors and you see odd graphic effects then go down to 256.

For everyone else ... if you are not seeing anything odd then don't change anything smile.gif.
