Aacooper
Dynamic flags are an innovative idea which will add to replay. My question is how does the defender know which flags are dynamic (not necessarily valid/bogus) and which are static? In the scenario briefing, the setup phase, or never? Does the defender know that there are dynamic flags even on the map? Or will/should that be hinted at in the scenario briefing (e.g. "The Americans will try to capture one of the three bridges across the canal"). Just curious. Guest Ol' Blood & Guts
I assume you are referring to Wild Bill & the Raider's article for the scenario editor, Pt. 2 right?
quote:
My question is how does the defender know which flags are dynamic (not necessarily valid/bogus) and which are static?

The way I understood it is that any one scenario/operation may have only one type of flag style, either static or dynamic. As for the reporting of that in the scenario/operation, I have no idea. ------------------ "Cry Woe...Destruction...Ruin and Decay. The worst is Death...and Death will have His day."--Gen. Aacooper
I'm refering to the article. I assume you can have both types, but looking at it again, Ol' Blood & Guts has a good question.
