USA Trucks in CMFI

I was just setting up a Quick Battle for USA vs Germans April 45, and it seems that nowhere in the American OOB are there any trucks. The only vehicles available are Jeeps, or half tracks. Is this not a bit weird? An oversight maybe?

Further digging reveals that trucks disappear from the American Force selection from June '44 onwards. Prior to that you can select a Deuce 6x6 after that nothing. Feels like a bug in Rome to Victory somehow. Is there are reason for it?
