karch
I've been playing PBMs with a good friend of mine and he came over this weekend and we finished most of them by hotseating the rest of the games. We now send hotseat files back and forth and it speeds up the process a TON. After you finish your turn and the other player is supposed to login, you can save the turn and abort the game. Then email the saved turn out of the saved games folder in your CM folder. If you and your friend trust each other enough not to quit a turn and recalculate, it cuts each turn down to 2 emails. I know it's not secure, you can cheat easily. But it's a great option for someone you trust to make PBM really fly. Scott Karch
Tris
Sounds good to me. I'm not much on anticheat systems, could never see the point. Hell, I'd rather a person cheat on me crazy if it's that important to him. I'd sure hate to think that I was the reason for his latest bummer.
