Picanteboy16
Is there a way to view the combat phases of an entire battle in one long string? I have the demo, and would like to review the whole battle of "Close Encounter" but I don't know how to see all of my combat phases without having to play the game over and over again. Anyone know a trick?
M. Bates
Try using the forum search, that helps.
Mannheim Tanker
No. It's on BTS's to-do list for CM2 IIRC. ------------------ "The real groundbreaker of CM isn't the 3D modeling, it's the 'holy crap! what the heck was THAT' factor." - Dalem
Bruno Weiss
Well, count me in as one who'd like such a capability. But I'm wondering how large such a movie file might end up being? ------------------ "Wer zuerst schiesst hat mehr von Leben" Moto-(3./JG11 "Graf") Bruno "Stachel" Weiss
Slapdragon
A medium board movie with action is showing up as 300k, so 30 or those would be 9mb, the largest I have gotten in 2.something mb per movie. Better get that new FireWire drive you have been eyeing!
Picanteboy16
is there a way to record the movie of your turn and then play them back to back? If you can't take one big movie, at least you could see the flow of the battle with little pauses every once in a while, how do you save a movie? Is there a way? Jagdwyrm
would be very cool to watch an entire battle like that, but it might end up being just a novelty
Slapdragon
Sure, just save the movie files and replay them one at a time. I would like, rather than inside the game, a viewer with various movie and image grab options.
Picanteboy16
Ok, fine, but how do I save the movie file? that's the real question. What's the command? when do I do it, before the movie is finished? After? How/when do I save it so I can view them all.
Mark IV
You can only save PBEM movies, not battles against the AI.
