KLilly
Sorry if my quick search didn't pick this up. In night battles, it appears that the control radius is the same as during daylight. I'm able to conduct a well-coordinated attack at night that probably could never have been done historically. Is command radius the same during the dark as during daylight? Schugger
Command range depends on LOS, so if your squad was still in LOS of it's HQ in your night battle there wasn't any penalty. Command range is halved ( IIRC) for a HQ unit which daws a command line to one od it's squads that is out of LOS. There is an article about HQs at CMHQ. Check it out, it is very interesting.
