Do you think it would be usefull to add the following feature in the planning phase? Allow the player to plan all the moves for the squads. Then have a button that you press to see the squads carry out movement and fire orders(the orders are not actually carried out). Note no attack results would be calculated. This would just be a planning aide for the player to make sure everyone will be at the right place at the right time. It's not something that real commanders had. Being that I'm an uber commander, I thought that this feature would be a nice way to visualise how the upcoming attack should follow through,(in general). If it appears that a squad is a bit out of position at a specific time in relation to another one of your squads then you can alter it's orders before the actual execution phase. Then if you're finally happy on how things appear to play out, go ahead and press the real go button and see how your guys did.

A feature that gives the player this type of info went in last week. You can toggle "on" ALL friendly unit movement path. This shows where each unit is plotted to go, as well as the type of action. Very good for coordinating units. It can be toggled on or off at any point during the Orders Phase.

We are not planning on showing all fire orders. Might be useful, but in general we don't think it is necessary. You generally have a good sense of who is shooting who.
