Deyk0311 Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 I cannot for the life of me get CMBN to patch beyond 3.0/2.20. I have purchased the vehicle pack and it is still messing with me. I can patch all the way up to 3.0 with no problem. However, when I open the autorun for 3.10/3.11 it seems to install fine, but when I open up the game it gets closed down due to a Application Error. I there something I am supposed to be doing with the nine files in the download? I have noticed that all patches up to this point are only 1 file, but the 3.10/3.11 patch contains 9? Hister Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 You have to have all the files ticked on the download page. Then you extract the zipped file taht downloaded. You run the setup. You are asked to enter 3.0 serial key (in case you haven't installed VP before). Then you go to your desktop and click on "activate" shortcut and separately activate all/any modules that you have. When you start the game it says engine version 3, game version 3.11. If regardless of this procedure you are getting CTD's then by all means leave a ticket at helpdesk. Deyk0311 Posted November 24, 2014 Author Share Posted November 24, 2014 Yeah. According to the help desk, the fact that I don't have the 1.11 patch installed is messing with the program.
