Gary T Posted December 10, 1999 Share Posted December 10, 1999 If a tank sufferes a damaged gun (in this case by indirect artillery fire) does it still have its capability to use its hull and co-ax MG's. I have a Sherman in this position and it will not use either of its MG's. If it was a penetrative hit I could understand it but the crew is intact. However, if you are short one crew member I don't think it will work. There might also have been a bug tossed in there, as I know this was brought up once before. howardb Posted December 11, 1999 Share Posted December 11, 1999 When I got that message I was thinking maybe the gun could still fire because it wasn't destroyed only damaged.
