Strider
Been a few questions about fires...Even tho 'Chance Encounter' is 'damp', a sherman firing on an Inf squad set the woods on fire. It did not spread, but it continued to burn.
FEBA
I've seen a panzerschreck in Reisberg set woods on fire. I heard the "woosh" of a launch, but couldn't see where it came from. The woods began burning right after the sound. A few moments later I spotted a shreck carrying SOB running out of a building and the formerly hunted target tank became the hunter. BTW, One of my infantry squads in the burning woods hustled clear of the fire without me giving it any orders.
Guest Big Time Software
We might have already tweaked the burn variables. But it isn't out of the question that a fire could start. Damp ground doesn't mean that everything is wet. After snow melts, or there has been a bunch of heavy rain after rain, yet there no rain has happened for several days, the things that tend to catch fire (even tall grass, wheat, etc.) can. Still, it shouldn't be happening very often at all. Steve
