Quintus Sertorius Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I started this as a new thread because I didn't want to hijack the official texture problem thread, where mention was made of decals for rank insignia on uniforms. Decals are of course a goal for the future with CMBN, but it got me thinking it might be a handy feature if, in addition to decals, the game could apply a tint to each individual uniform. By doing that you could simulate color shade differences from manufacture and wear-and-tear (and potentially other things as well) using only a single base texture. Since the texture file for a uniform is around 3mb, it would save a lot of space and bandwidth. Just a thought. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
