.....on BBC4 the other night on the life of Roger Bushell, Big X of the Great Escape. Entitled 'The Real Great Escape' it was told entirely by members of his family through diaries and letters and showed vividly his transformation from fun loving playboy on the Swiss ski slopes to driven escaper and Nazi hater determined to continue his war from behind the wire.Watch out for a repeat.
