Guest John Maragoudakis
Would it be better to not allow you to know if an enemy squad was broken? If we place our curser over a broken enemy unit, will we know it's broken? Having a decrease in fire from that enemy should imply that the enemy is broken but should we know for sure that the enemy squad is broken? In this way, you can have a squad of yours stop firing for a bit and retreat a little to trick the other guy into thinking your unit broke. Guest Big Time Software
An enemy's mental and physical states are never known to the other player, and neither are ammo loads and experience. So it is up to the player to figure out that such and such a unit is tired, broken, low on ammo, and piss poor in any event Steve
Guest John Maragoudakis
Good, gives us more room to play with. I remember how in Squad Leader, you turned the counter over to it's broken side. Clearly that is the type of info that should only be implied not explicit. Good to see you have that covered.
