Ive notice on a few screenshots and animations (espectially the newer one), that there apeears to be forest fires buring around the place. Is this indeed the case, and if so, what terrain types can 'burn' I imagine buildings can. Can the fire jump between building if so? If I recall correctly, in Arhnem the German troops delibrately lit many fires to 'deter' the British troopers out of the buildings. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The likelihood depends on what weapon type hit, the season, and how wet things are. And fires can spread, too. But generally not too much. We want you to fight WW2, not play Smokey the Bear. Maybe with a bit of tweaking you can also get a state of the art fire fighting simulation from the 3D engine Just kidding. Have a good weekend all.
