JonS
the journal Canadian Military History has all, or at least most, orf the articles from their extensive catalogue available on line here: http://www.canadianmilitaryhistory.ca/archived-articles/ There's quite a wide range of articles there, from memoirs by participants, to contemporary documents, to analysis by some well known historians. It also covers all Canadian wars, so there's stuff there from the 1700s right through to Kosovo. However, WWII and especially Normandy makes up a good proportion of the material there, and often the articles on Normandy take a look at one battle or incident in quite a lot of detail. And that means they'd make very useful startpoints for scenario builders. For instance, this one: http://www.wlu.ca/lcmsds/cmh/back%20issues/CMH/volume%207/Issue%202/Foulds%20-%20In%20Support%20of%20the%20Canadians%20-%20A%20British%20Anti-Tank%20Regiment%27s%20first%20five%20weeks%20in%20Normandy.pdf relates the experiences of a corps-level anti-tank troop in Op WINDSOR in a reasonable amount of detail.
