The lack of a minimap and/or a strategic map. Will it be in the final release? It is difficult to localize my troops (and the enemy)without it. Guest Big Time Software Posted October 29, 1999 Share Posted October 29, 1999 It's very difficult to do a minimap in 'true' 3D so we probably won't have that. However. try this if you need a quick overview: 1. Press '8' to go to the highest camera position (way overhead). 2. Press shift-C (maybe a couple of times) to increase unit scale so you can see everyone clearly even from your high vantage point. This gives you a nice eagle-eye view of the whole map. Sorry but I skipped over that part of the doc last night...
