I was wondering if anyone could let me copy The Day of Attrition scenario file, I believe i have a corrupted file, it gets to about 63 % load and crashes the game, I have all the Combat Mission games and this is the only mission I've played that does this.

I appreciate both of your help, I definitely look forward to playing this campaign.

One of you fine gentlemen point me in the direction where I could download this campaign? I see it on the depot but no option to download. Thank you in advance.
-
I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign as a whole.

You leave out Cuba?
Always a Cuban in the mix.

I don't know about anybody else but that seems like it would be a interesting venue for some scenarios, new vehicles and troops, related to the cold war. I feel like that would be a interesting direction for battlefront to look into a expansion of course after British/West Germany/Nato troops, East Germany/Warsaw Pact countries, North German Plain Ect. what do all of you think?

Thanks Guys

Enough. As has been pointed out this isn't the place for political discussions. I am sure there are forums out there that are more suitable but this isn't one of them. It looks like you're brand new here so I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt.
This isn't a thread that I intend to lock. Which means if it continues I'll need to use other means to bring this to a halt. Got it, everyone?

My mum used to say that when she was a little girl and saw soldiers in German uniform she was amazed over how handsome they looked.
But those of the forum members who play Germans in the CM-games probably do that because they maybe say the same about the tanks, halftracks and other technical equipment the Germans had and not so much about how the soldiers looked in uniform.
Perfect explanation.

Yeah, I don't think this accurate. I think a lot of Americans actually might like playing the Germans more. Probably thanks to the History channel portraying everything as the UNSTOPPABLE BEAST that the German TIGER and PANTHER was.
I can remember watching The History Channel and Saving Private Ryan when I was in elementary school and being fascinated by the Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, SS and everything about them warfare wise. I’ll play as the Germans all day any day.

Since our store does not require anyone to enter their age this is purely anecdotal........
I think a few years ago much of the audience was aging. 40s-60s. Working the Help Desk I interact with a lot of people. I now believe the customer base is spread across most ages (20s-70s). I frequently get tickets from people who have gotten the game for a college class. They've become hooked. And the modern titles have brought in people that are in active service and want to play a game that uses the toys that they use. And then look deeper into the WW2 stuff. The Cold War game has been outing a lot of people that served during that time. And then, of course, there are the OGs.....like me. I know how old Steve is (when we met the first time it was part of the conversation.......he was younger than I expected) but it isn't my place to talk about it. Last year I hit a big number that a lot of people back in the 80's would have bet against me ever reaching.
So, there is your unscientific answer. I'd expect that as more and more titles are released on Steam the average age will drop.
I’m in my early 30’s, purchased CMSF2 on steam, discovered the WW2 collection(especially CMRT) on Battlefront and never looked back.
