Sorry @kipanderson I don't saw your reply, I was also thinking to use CMCW, but was not sure, I think is a little too early to trying to do something and have to wait to the next module for CW, I have the conviction that this will be the BAOR, and perhaps some Eastern and Western German vehicles and soldiers, for me, a logical way, if the war began in Germany...

However for eastern german troops they are similar as Soviets, with some particular vehicles, so I don't think that Eastern (DDR) German will be added, but why not Polen or Tchec or whatever from East added with, Us Airborne...

With the Brits, we would have a good arsenal and will be able to "starting" a new theatre of operation.

I would like to see the Centurion, Chieftain, Btr 40 152... and we are "ready to the middle East.😉

The Brits are a must with them  and the US materials, we can created differents others countries.

Well missing also the "sand guns" to cross the channel, but BFC have it, "already ready" in another module. 😆🥂

The only Centurions still in British service in the time covered by the game, were operated by Royal Artillery Forward Observers, and known as Centurion OPRA.  By 1980 there were only a handfull still in service.

Actually, that's something I've been wondering about for awhile. Does anybody here know the deal with that? Were those blocks supposed to be filled with explosives but fell victim to incompetence/graft? Or, were those egg carton filled blocks some kind of non-explosive reactive armor?

    Here you go.

    "Out for Schwimm" scenario.

The goal is to cross the river. However, the bridge is broken and there is no river banks suitable for crossing. AI can't find the path either.

    Looks like a bug.

I managed to cross the river without any problems.

    Hello everyone,

We are having a discussion in a FaceBook group that is dedicated to Combat Mission. I am sure this question has been asked before, but we are wondering why the hedgehog obstacle can't be cleared by an engineer unit with a satchel charge? It shouldn't take any more time for an engineer unit to destroy the obstacle as it does to blast a hole through a wall or a hedgerow, but definitely more dangerous. I am personally wondering why the German dragon's teeth obstacle is not included, especially since they would be available in Final Blitzkrieg or any module for that title? Just wondering so be kind.

You would need cutting charges for the hedgehogs.  One for each leg of the hedgehog.  Say 20 - 30 minutes per hedgehog. Also add time for laying out your firing method.  You would still need to remove any stubs sticking up out of the ground after the hedgehog is cut away..  A satchel charge would just scratch a hedgehog.

Not sure about artillery delivered mines, but from 1981 onwards, the Bundeswehr used the M-548A1-G to produce quick minefields. It could deploy 600 antitank mines on a 1500m long and 50m whide strip of land within 5 minutes. But of course, the Bundeswehr is not respresented yet. The vehicle itself is American and based on the M113, but not sure about the mine-thrower-unit?

The British Army had something similar.  I trained on it back in early 81.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L10_Ranger_Anti-Personnel_mine

First and mainly: LVT Buffalo for Rhine crossing.
Then, late war CW stuff and forces, Pershing and some very late war german toys (for example Jadgtiger Porsche).

P.D. Has BF announced anything on this matter (FB module)?

Buffalo LVT in UK service with the 20mm Polsten cannon replacing the .50 would be nice.  Also how about the DUKW.

No offense but this store site is not very well set up -for instance i cant find Fire and Rubble when clicking on the base game Red Thunder game and if i click Upgrades it only offers up a $10.00 to upgrade to to engine 4.0. No mention of Fire and Rubble under the Games tab -what gives? So if i buy Red Thunder is it already at v 4.0?

Edit: Also using the Search button nothing comes up for Fire and Rubble or any derivative of that name

    It hasn't been released yet.

Looks like a Bren.  You can just make out the dial sight.  A 100rd drum magazine was an option.
