Give them a short Target Arc.  In the user interface, bottom right under "C" (for combat) Click Target Arc.   You can make it wedge shape or if you hold down the shift key, at the same time, the Target Arc will be 360o.     Drag it to the size you want it.

Many thanks, MOS ill give this a go. Considering the detail of the game, one would have thought there would be a button for Hold fire.

Did you purchase the '4.0 Upgrade' for CMBS ? If not, then you'll want to install the 1.04 patch again and see if everything works. If not, then you'll need to reinstall CMBS again and then install the 1.01, 1.03 and 1.04 patches. The '2.10' patch is only for those who have purchased and install the 4.0 Upgrade.

Many thanks. I did not realise I had to purchase an upgrade. Does the upgrade add anything new?

Edit: I just noticed the advert for Battle Pack 1. Is this what I need to purchase?

  3. Hi all.

Not played the sim in quite some time.
Have just updated BS from the patch page on the main site.
    There were 2 patches, 1.04 and 2.10.
Every time I try to launch the game I now get a popup that says "Licence failure: Game engine 4 is required. Please run the activate product utility and enter the licence key."
Does this mean my original key?

  4. How good are you with photoshop or gimp?

Adding graffitis is probably not the most difficult thing in the world but you need to know the basics of photoshop first.

Here are a couple of links with some tutorials you could follow :

    http://photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/graffiti/graffiti.htm

    http://www.iceflowstudios.com/2012/tutorials/graffiti-text-effect-in-photoshop/

If you don't have access to Photoshop, you could give Gimp a try. It is a free programme and for a beginner it will do everything you need, the only downside being that the tools and menus are slightly different, so following a tutorial made for Photoshop might be a little tricky. And speaking of tutorials, if you're willing to learn, there are millions of them online covering all aspects of graphic design. It is a useful skill to have and learning by moding bmps is not a bad place to start.

  5. Doublepost for a cause:

    Here's some random videos of:

D Co 2-9 IN 1 ABCT 2 ID doing it's Table XII platoon level live fires with accompanying Apaches
Some videos from Tankfest 2015 at the Flying Heritage Collection
Our family hedgehog at maximum armor mode.

Here's some footage from one of the tank crewmen featured in the Table XII shoots I posted

I lied as far as the M2A3s, I took that footage on my very dead iphone, may pull the memory card one of these days though.

    Epic, many thanks :)

  6. Quick answer :

If you know how to use photoshop or gimp, it is just a matter of creating a replacement bmp for the texture you want to modify.

But first you will need to unpack the brz located in your Black Sea/Data folder. There is a tool provided for it in the Mod Tools folder of your game install.

Basically you copy the brz and paste it into the RezExplode folder, then click the exe and it will unpack everything inside. Now there are several of these brz files, so you will need to find which one contains the bmp you are looking for. Maybe there is a list somewhere.

many thanks, I'm very much a noob when it comes to mods etc. A video would really help, has anyone who mods ever done a tutorial vid for textures etc?
